Greg Schmidt, the proud owner of Pest Solutions, has dedicated over 30 years to the pest control industry, following in the footsteps of his father, Levi. Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Greg started his career as a termite technician as a teenager and worked for both large and small pest control companies before founding Pest Solutions in January 2002. His vision was clear: to provide exceptional service, exceed customer expectations, and build lasting relationships.
What started as a small business soon grew into a trusted name in pest control for Richmond, Fredericksburg, Stafford, and the surrounding areas. Greg was fortunate to bring on Joe and Jessie Hughes—longtime friends and former colleagues—later that same year, strengthening the company’s foundation. Today, Pest Solutions continues to thrive, offering full-service pest control solutions backed by a commitment to customer satisfaction and eco-friendly treatment methods.

He has served as a deacon and AWANA Commander for his church, leads the Community Service Committee for the Fredericksburg Builders Association, and is involved with the Virginia and National Pest Management Associations, sitting on multiple boards and committees. He has also served on the board of directors of the NPMA and serves on the board of the Quality Pro.
